Graham Warrington

.Graham has been the musical director of Lytham Community Choir since it was formed in February 2012.  He grew up in Blackpool studying Electronic Organ, Piano and Clarinet under Val George, John Askew, Brian Harrison and Ray Wilkes.  He started playing in local hotels and restaurants from the age of 13 and continues to enjoy the occasional gig.

 He studied music at Colchester Institute where he gained an Honours Degree and went on to study for his Post Graduate Certificate of Education at Canterbury Christ Church College. 

Graham has taught music at Saint Bede’s since January 2000 where he leads a busy music department.  He also plays the tenor saxophone in a local swing band, ‘Switched On Swing’ and occasionally plays the organ for services at Saint Nicholas Church, Wrea Green. 

In conjunction with Lancashire Music Service he established the Lytham Youth Choir, also based at Saint Bede’s.
