It is the policy of Lytham Performing Arts Festival to treat all competitors, adjudicators, accompanists, stewards and volunteers fairly and equally, regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, marital status, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion, age, disability or union membership status.

Furthermore the Festival will ensure that no requirement or condition will be imposed without justification which could disadvantage individuals purely on any of the above grounds.

The policy also applies to the recruitment and selection of Trustees.

The Charity will regularly review all selection criteria to ensure that individuals are treated according to their relevant individual abilities and merits.

The overall responsibility for the policy lies with the Trustees.
